Nicole Drummond

Artist, Art Educator

…you are always a teacher. You remain alive in thousands of memories and thousands of minds of people you have taught. It’s a kind of immortality.
Bel Kaufman in an excerpt from the “Up Front” column in Vogue’s August issue. While that article is not yet online, this 2011 article in The New York Times also shares this teacher’s story (she was merely 100 years old at the time of the interview). (via fundforteachers)

About

Avatar I recently graduated Cum Laude from Towson University with a degree in Art Education. During the school year, I am a middle school art teacher in Anne Arundel County. In the summer, I am both a camp counselor and instructor of art camps for youth at my local community college. This blog documents teaching experiences, ideas, and some of my personal artwork.
