Yet another awesome print!
Spent allllll afternoon/night with my other art teacher matting artwork for our county exhibit! We left at 8:00, we hang the artwork tomorrow, but man does this stuff look FANTASTIC! We set all the artwork up for how we want to display it at the show. SO PROUD of my students.
If you’re in the Maryland area go to the Annapolis mall any time between tomorrow and May 16th to check out the work!
My 3 favorite prints!!! Loved this project. :)
Some of the first few prints from 8th grade! Printed on watercolor paper. Love these!!!!!
Started matting works today for the annual county art exhibition! Art instantly looks better matted. So excited!!!! These look so good, and only about half of my kids’ pieces. :)
I’m so proud of my students!
One of my students stayed after to help me clean up/organize. They love me. :)
Hung up some artwork on the windows next to my room! 7th grade op art. I love displaying my kids’ work everywhere!
Omg new tumblr app update!!
Here are some of my 7th graders’ mandalas! These are just from today, they look great!
And now I’m on spring break until April 2nd!
SUCH a cool clay project. Done by one of my 8th graders. :)
One of the COOLEST op art designs from the 7th grade. It’s nice to have short projects after such long ones!!!
This one is better than the example I made!
6th graders are creating color wheels with watercolor paints. They look beautiful once they’ve been used. It’s the small things sometimes…
7th grade is about to start an op art unit, so I’m doing an art history piece too for movements that led to op art! Students are going to work in groups and read about specific movements, then take notes on their thinking map. Gotta support common core in art!
Second display! 8th portraits and 7th mardi gras masks!! So proud!! These are all so good. :)
Lolol the students watched a movie about clay. This is one of their answers.
They make me laugh.
